Improving the Energy Policy Setting for Renewable Energies and Grid-Connected Pilot Wind Energy Project
The purpose of the project was to support Viet Nam’s Ministry of Trade and Industry in shaping energy policy and optimising technical parameters in a way which is conducive to the development of wind energy. The key aims were to develop funding instruments modelled on the German 'Renewable Energy Sources Act' (EEG), to provide advice on the planning of wind power plants in the provinces, and to support the private sector in connection with the construction of grid-connected wind farms.
