Eco-Industrial Parks in Andra Pradesh
The purpose of the project was to support the process of structural change towards improved environmental performance and to break the link between economic growth and resource consumption in India by developing and implementing the concept of eco-industrial parks. The project supported selected existing industrial parks in the planning and implementation of energy and resource-saving measures. It also advised the parks on the introduction of climate, environmental and energy audits and the monitoring of greenhouse gas emissions. In addition, decision-makers and experts from the partner organisations and the industrial parks received training in energy and resource efficiency.
