This film supports the nomination of the Cold Winter Deserts of Turan as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Cold Winter Deserts of Turan were nominated in 2022 by Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan as a transnational serial natural property. The film shows the Outstanding Universal Value of the Cold Winter Deserts of Turan which is justified by the significant ongoing ecological and biological processes in the cold winter deserts, as well as their importance as habitat for globally threatened animal and plant species.
