Three countries leading in gender-inclusive climate action
Since 2021, the FAO-UNDP SCALA Program has focused on gender and social inclusion in climate policies across Africa, Asia, and Latin America. It supports regions in enhancing adaptive capacity and resilience in agriculture and land-use sectors, fostering co-benefits like greenhouse gas reduction. By collaborating with local communities, district authorities, and national governments, SCALA strengthens capacity for tailored climate interventions, addressing the needs of women, youth, and marginalized groups.
