Mitigating greenhouse gas emissions
In the funding area 'mitigating greenhouse gas emissions', the International Climate Initiative (IKI) supports partner countries in the development and implementation of innovative instruments to reduce their greenhouse gas emissions. The goal is a transformation towards a sustainable and low-emission economy and supply structure. The Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs), in which the contracting states to the Paris Climate Agreement formulate their reduction targets, are of great relevance for this purpose.
