Eleven C40 member cities in Africa have pledged to deliver their contribution to the Paris Agreement on climate change by developing robust, evidence-based, long term climate action plans. To this end, the cities are supported by C40's Climate Action Planning Africa Programme, which is funded by the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety, the Danish Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Cities Alliance and the Children's Investment Fund Foundation.
