|
Study
Climate change and biodiversity loss are interlinked, however, coordinated policy responses are limited. Existing legal and policy tools can support synergies between CBD and UNFCCC commitments. COP activities show progress, with COP 26 recognising nature's role in climate action, promising to bridge climate and biodiversity agendas. Ongoing CBD negotiations give room to strengthen synergies within the 2030 Sustainable Development Agenda.
