Exacerbated by climate change and social and economic conditions, disasters and climate-related events are leaving low-income communities increasingly vulnerable to financial shocks and economic distress. This special report examines the roles of financial regulators in disaster risk reduction from a financial inclusion perspective and highlights examples of good practices in the AFI network.
