12 new IKI projects launched

Here you will find an overview of the funding areas in which our latest projects have been launched.

Since 2008, the German Federal Government has been supporting climate action and biodiversity conversation through the International Climate Initiative (IKI). More than 1,000 projects in around 150 partner countries have been supported with a total of almost 7 billion euros.

Currently, 12 new projects have been launched, reflecting the strategic focus of the funding programme. Project objectives range from strengthening women's initiatives for a low-carbon future to participating in the Tiger Landscapes Investment Fund, which will help leverage private and blended finance for biodiversity conservation.

An overview of the new projects can be found here:

We look forward to working together and wish the IKI implementing organisations and their partners a good start to the project!
