IKI intends to launch a project together with the European Investment Bank (EIB) to complement the NDC partnership initiative "Readiness Support for Greening Central Banks".
IKI intends to launch a project together with the European Investment Bank (EIB) to complement the NDC partnership initiative "Readiness Support for Greening Central Banks". The funding volume is expected to amount to 20 million euros.
This will support central banks and other financial institutions to identify climate risks, integrate them into regulatory frameworks, and mobilize climate-friendly investments.
During an event at COP 26, the IKI project was announced today (8 November 2021) together with the NDC Partnership Initiative.
