In 2025, Parties will submit updated Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs). To create an ambitious, just and effective response to the climate crisis, strong civil society participation in the updating and implementation of NDCs is key. Meaningful participation can leverage necessary capacities and commitments and ensure broad societal support as well as ownership of climate action.
