Integrated Climate Information Services Value Chains for Transformative Climate Action (CISTA)
Climate risks are increasing worldwide, but decision-makers often lack reliable climate data and proven tools for effective climate risk management. Without evidence-based foundations, there is a risk of maladaptation and inadequate development planning. The project improves access to customized climate information services that are adapted to regional and national needs. It strengthens competencies along the entire value chain - from data collection to application - and supports the anchoring of such services in political processes such as NAPs, NDCs and NBSAPs. The aim is to promote climate-resilient decision-making and increase the resilience of communities and ecosystems.
