Countrywide high-quality energy efficiency advisory services

Access to quality energy efficiency services for households and building owners in Kyrgyzstan is limited outside Bishkek where all officially recognised experts are based. The project enhances the availability of qualified energy efficiency experts in Osh, Batken, and Jalal-Abad to help improve the high energy intensity of the country’s economy and building sector and to support the implementation of its energy and climate policies. The main target groups are independent energy efficiency consultants as well as upcoming professionals from related disciplines like engineering, energy, architecture, and construction. A particular focus is set on youth and women. The project enhances technical and business skills of local consultants to obtain government accreditation, support networking and knowledge exchange, promote the energy efficiency sector among young graduates, and facilitate policy dialogue between experts, technology providers, and government.
